Description: The Redlands Community Senior Center will host a free six-week Diabetes Empowerment (DEEP) course. Classes will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesdays beginning April 4 through May 19. DEEP is a Medicare approved, evidence based diabetes self-management program for people with diabetes or pre-diabetes. The DEEP classes are highly interactive, fun and are presented in a supportive group environment. Participants may qualify to receive a $40 gift card. To qualify for the gift card, participants must complete all six sessions and must be age 65 or older or on Medicare and must be diabetic or pre-diabetic. Regal Medical Group members may qualify to receive a $100.00 gift card.
