The City of Moreno Valley has taken another step toward inclusivity by implementing Wordly, an AI-powered translation service that provides real-time, audio-to-text translation support at public meetings and selected events. This user-friendly technology provides access to instant translations in multiple languages without the need for human interpreters. Wordly’s easy-to-use, seamless, AI-driven application allows residents to follow meetings in their preferred language through their smartphones, tablets, or computers, making civic participation more accessible than ever.   "The City of Moreno Valley embraces innovation and technology. Wordly breaks down language barriers and allows our messaging to more effectively reach our audiences,” said Mayor Ulises Cabrera. “This is another step forward in making our local government more inclusive for all.”   Residents and elected officials alike have praised the new system, recognizing it as a valuable tool in bridging communication gaps and strengthening civic involvement. With Wordly in place, Moreno Valley continues to lead the way in utilizing innovative solutions to serve its diverse and dynamic community.   By leveraging AI translation, Moreno Valley is modernizing its public services and reinforcing its dedication to accessibility and community engagement. The addition of Wordly underscores the City’s commitment to fostering inclusive governance.    For more information about Wordly and other accessibility initiatives, visit moval.org/city_hall.
