Spring is all about fresh, floral, citrusy vibes when it comes to adult beverages. Here’s a lineup of refreshing spring cocktails (and mocktail options, too, if you’d like!) that are perfect for sipping on a sunny patio or sharing at a gathering.
1. Strawberry Basil Vodka Smash
Muddle fresh strawberries and basil with a bit of sugar.
Add vodka, ice, and a splash of soda water.
Shake, strain, pour, and garnish with a basil leaf.
2. Lavender Lemonade Gin Fizz
Mix gin with homemade or store-bought lavender lemonade.
Add a bit of club soda for bubbles.
Garnish with a lemon wheel and a sprig of lavender.
3. Rosé Sangria
Combine chilled rosé wine with:
Sliced strawberries, peaches, and oranges
A splash of orange liqueur (like Cointreau)
Top with sparkling water or lemon-lime soda
Serve in a pitcher over ice.
4. Cucumber Mint Mojito
Muddle cucumber slices, mint leaves, and lime juice.
Add white rum and simple syrup.
Top with soda water and plenty of ice.
5. Peach Bellini
Blend peaches (fresh or frozen) with a little honey or simple syrup.
Pour into a flute and top with chilled Prosecco or sparkling wine.
6. Elderflower Spritz
1 part St-Germain (elderflower liqueur), 2 parts Prosecco, 2 parts sparkling water.
Serve over ice with a citrus twist and edible flowers if you're feeling fancy.
7. Blood Orange Paloma
Mix tequila with fresh blood orange juice, lime juice, and a touch of agave.
Top with grapefruit soda or sparkling water.
Salted rim optional, but highly recommended.
Enjoy Safely!!
