Moreno Valley keeps moving on up! For the second consecutive year, the City of Moreno Valley has been recognized by the NAFA Fleet Management Association as one of the Top 50 Green Fleets in North America, climbing from #47 in 2025 to #39 in 2026.
“I’m proud to see Moreno Valley recognized among leading public fleets across the country,” said Mayor Ulises Cabrera. “Moving up eight spots in this national ranking is a tremendous accomplishment and a reflection of the focus and dedication of our Fleet & Facilities team. Their efforts are helping the City operate more efficiently while continuing to make meaningful progress toward our sustainability goals.”
The NAFA Green Fleet Awards recognize public and private organizations that demonstrate excellence in fleet sustainability, including alternative-fuel and zero-emission vehicle deployment, emissions reduction, infrastructure, technology and innovative fleet management practices.
Moreno Valley’s continued rise in the rankings reflects the City’s ongoing efforts to transition its fleet, expand new technologies and infrastructure, pursue grant opportunities and respond to evolving regulatory requirements. All while keeping vehicles and equipment reliable and ready to serve City departments and the community.
